Leela Beach (or Haad Seekantang) is on the most southern tip of Koh Phangan and just 10 minutes walk from Haad Rin. The white, shiny sand, turquoise water, green palm groves and plenty of shade- make Leela beach a perfect spot if you look for some quietness, but still want to be very close to the party scene. The main reason why Leela Beach is so extremely popular is the fact that the general feel there is as if it is a private area in the centre of Koh Phangan. The beach offers some of the nicest resorts which provide luxury facilities, modern look and complete privacy. Leela Beach Koh Phangan is very popular among younger people and also couples. A high percentage of the crowd there usually goes to the Full Moon Party and then return at night in order to be able to sleep well without too much noise.
